As of 2025, Pakistan’s population is projected to reach 255.22 million, with 125.90 million females, constituting approximately 49.3% of the total population.
The life expectancy in Pakistan has seen a gradual increase over the years. In 2025, the overall life expectancy is estimated at 68.08 years, with females expected to live 69.33 years and males 67.08 years.
Despite these improvements, women in Pakistan continue to face significant challenges, including poorer nutrition, intense physical labor, higher rates of disability and maternal mortality, and limited access to education. These factors contribute to ongoing gender disparities and highlight the need for targeted interventions to improve the health and well-being of women across the country.

At Lord’s Home Foundation, we are committed to providing comprehensive medical assistance to children, women, and young people in schools, orphan homes, and various educational institutions. Our healthcare initiatives ensure that vulnerable populations receive timely medical check-ups, essential treatments, and preventive care to promote overall well-being.

Pakistan’s gender disparity is evident, with women comprising 48.54% of the population in 2020 yet facing systemic neglect in healthcare, education, and social opportunities. Lower life expectancy, poor nutrition, high maternal mortality, and limited education hinder their empowerment. Targeted interventions in healthcare, education, and economic support are crucial to ensuring equal opportunities and recognition for women.

In Pakistan, girls’ school enrollment remains lower than boys’, largely due to cultural preferences for gender-segregated schools and socio-economic barriers. Women’s significant contributions to family businesses, farms, and the informal sector are underreported in labor statistics and often go unpaid and unrecognized. These workplaces offer poor wages, conditions, and growth opportunities, reinforcing gender inequality. Improving access to education and economic opportunities is essential for empowering women and ensuring equal participation in society.

Every year hundreds of thousands of children stay out of school only because of health issues
OUR PROMISE
We are keeping children in the school by providing them good health
LHF-Pakistan is dedicated to strengthening Pakistan’s health system by ensuring accessible and quality healthcare for mothers, newborns, and children, with a focus on nutrition, primary healthcare, and reproductive health. We prioritize reaching underserved and remote communities, testing innovative models to expand healthcare coverage and mobilize resources for large-scale impact. In times of conflict or disaster, we provide life-saving medical and nutrition services to affected populations, ensuring essential care where it is needed most.
We recognize that children are highly vulnerable to diseases, which hinder their education and overall well-being. To address this, we provide health awareness, early diagnosis, and treatment to ensure that children stay healthy and can pursue their education without disruption. Our efforts focus on reaching children everywhere, especially in underserved communities, to safeguard their health and future.
